Developed by Survivor’s Hope Crisis Centre in partnership with Brandon Women’s Resource Centre and supported by funding from Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE), the Rural Manitoba Sexual Assault Response Network (RMSARN) was created to bring together service providers working in rural Manitoba on issues of gender-based violence, with particular focus on sexualized violence. Members of the RMSARN include representatives from community agencies and services that assist survivors of sexualized violence, such as legal and medical support.
Meetings of the RMSARN committee members are opportunities to improve cooperation, recognize gaps, improve access, meet the needs of communities, and work to ensure delivery is efficient and effective.
