SARAH VOLUNTEER
TRAINING OPPORTUNITY
Starts May 24th
The SARAH Program is a sexual assault crisis intervention program that provides services through local hospital emergency departments and RCMP detachments in eastern Manitoba. The Program currently operates on the east side of the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority.
The program volunteer offers a victim of sexual violence support and information to help in the healing process. We are currently looking for new volunteers to join our Program.
Successful applicants will be invited to participate in Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Worker training in May and June.
Training takes place in Pinawa May 24 & 25 and May 31 & June 1 (Saturdays and Sundays) from 9:00-5:00, as well as May 27 6:30-9:30 (Tuesday evening). There will also be a full day at Klinic Community Health Centre in Winnipeg Saturday June 14. The trainee must successfully complete all sessions to become a volunteer with the SARAH Program.
